Poziom oleju w manualnej skrzyni biegów powinno się kontrolować co około 15 tyś. km lub co 12-18 miesięcy (najlepiej to robić podczas okresowej wymiany oleju w silniku), a samą wymianę w tym przypadku zaleca się przeprowadzać co 60000 km lub co 3 lata.
